The West Virginia Department of Agriculture has again this year received funding for the Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program. The program will be offered in all 55 counties of West Virginia.

Vouchers will be distributed to eligible seniors (age 60 and over) who meet the income guidelines. Eligible seniors will receive $28 in coupons per household to be used to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at any of the state’s approved farmers’ markets or produce stands.
